A Brand is the unit Nutgraf builds for. Everything Nutgraf builds — video, apps, and capabilities to come — is built inside a Brand, scoped to that brand business, and informed by its brief.
What it is
A Brand is the persistent workspace for one brand business. It holds the master brand brief — tone, target audience, creative direction, and digital presenter configuration — that defines everything built inside it. When you invoke a Computer inside a Brand, the agents inherit that context automatically. You set the brand once; every Computer run starts from it. You can run multiple brand businesses from one Nutgraf account. Each Brand is completely isolated: its brief, presenter setup, stories, and build history are private to that workspace. Switching Brands switches the entire context.Getting Started: Your First Brand in Minutes
1. Create a Brand
Click Create Brand from the Brand switcher in the top left. Give the Brand a name that reflects the business property — for example, “TechBrief Weekly” or “Founder Stories”. A clear name makes switching between multiple Brands fast and unambiguous.2. Write the master brand brief
The brand brief is the instruction set that every Computer run inherits. Describe the brand’s voice, target audience, creative tone, and any standing guidelines — for example, “conversational and direct, aimed at early-stage founders, never use jargon”. The more specific the brief, the more consistently the Computers produce on-brand output without extra prompting.3. Set up your digital presenter
Upload a photograph to create a digital presenter for this Brand. The presenter becomes the on-screen persona for all video produced under this Brand. You can configure the voiceprint and visual styling to match the brand’s identity. See Creative Studio for details on presenter setup.4. Invoke a Computer
With the Brand configured, open the input bar and select a Computer — Video to build a video, or Code to build an app. The Computer inherits the brand brief immediately. You do not need to repeat any context. What You Need to Know
Brief inheritance
Every Computer run inside a Brand automatically receives the master brand brief as its starting context. If you update the brief, subsequent runs use the updated version. Runs already in progress or completed are unaffected.Context isolation
Brands do not share context with each other. The brief, stories, presenter configurations, and run history of one Brand are completely invisible to another. This is intentional — it lets you maintain genuinely distinct brand identities without any risk of bleed.Credits are shared across Brands
Your credit balance is account-wide, not per Brand. Running a Computer under Brand A and Brand B both draw from the same pool. This means you can allocate production capacity freely across your portfolio without managing separate budgets.Scheduled execution
In addition to launching runs on demand, your Brand can build deliverables autonomously on a recurring schedule. Fired runs appear as new sessions in your Stories bar. See Scheduled Tasks for details.Tips
- Name Brands after the property, not the format. “Climate Weekly” is more useful than “Video Brand 1” when you are switching between several properties.
- Write the brief before invoking any Computer. A well-defined brief from the start saves you from correcting output later.
- Keep one Brand per distinct audience. If two properties target different readers with different voices, they belong in separate Brands.
- Pin your most active Brands. The Brand switcher keeps frequently used Brands at the top for quick access.
